Katherine L Fraser

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area during the height of the folk music era.  My sister and I formed a guitar and singing group called The Peanut Gallery that performed throughout the state.  I often added cello to the repertoire, which led to composing for cello and other instruments.  

I am currently active in community orchestras and small ensembles.  While I enjoy performing, my favorite pastime is composing and arranging music.  Music should not only be enjoyable for the listener, but also fun for the musicians who play it!
